Well i've heard Dunne and some dude from Crawley Town. Dunne would be nice if Villa covered 70% of his wages but why do we need some non-league striker? Can't see that one. Surely we can leave these gambles to other clubs below us now as we have the likes of Grella out on loan and Somma sitting in the reserves.

Low risk I'd say. Mind you, knowing our lot, they'd bring him up to standard and then let him go for nowt after letting his contract run down.[/quote]But how do we develop him? He will not get near the first team or reserves and nor should he. They paid £70k, the talk is of a £500k fee to us. They would want a profit on the £70k even if the half mill is paper talk. I don't see any great profit here, he's 26 and has been at Bournemouth 3 times, how come he's suddenly good enough for Leeds United? Do we fuck Somma, Elliot and Grella off to give the fucker games?
MolOverBeethoven
Elliott wouldn't get a game for the OMJ vets.

I've heard of ranting about transfers but ranting about transfer rumours is funny! :D

No point getting hacked off until something definitely happens...as Gore said, its the silly season. To be honest I've given up getting all pissed off if players decide they want to play elsewhere...what will be will be!In all honesty,if it was a football decision then the only place to ply your trade outside of the Premiership, would probably be Leeds...but as we all know,it ain't down to that.

See that lad from Crawley has bagged another two this afternoon.

O'Brien just on Radio Leeds. He went down and spoke to Cardiff, then phoned Ken Bates. He and his father met Bates and after some negotiations we matched Cardiff's offer.
fiery_jacque
I can't believe there was gonna be any other outcome. O'Brien's kids are settled in school and I don't think he's played for a team more than 50 miles from harrogate. At least he's got a longer deal. We just need another centre half who is faster than Naylor
