Personally I've always liked Howson, liked him but with reservations over his consistency whilst accepting he's be played all over for the good of the team, often not in his best position. The thing is most on here seemed to rate him as a nice home grown lad who was not quite good enough prior to recent developments. Now we're flogging him he's the future of the club?
Gore's right in so much that we could all do with some perspective on this. Grayson or whoever could have been in his place, needs to do their business in the window. Say Delph comes back on loan and that develop with Snoddy Clayton and the other lonee on the wing and delivers us to the playoffs it will look an inspired bit of business.
