Not sure why,but I can't get too upset over Howson going...maybe its because there are others I'm glad to keep over him.

Admittedly the morale and general demeanour around the club seems to be pretty rock bottom and this is yet another statement that just adds to it....but its been like that for a while now!

Nothing surprises me at Leeds anymore and as someone stated recently,its the Leeds circus coming to town again.

This is a huge loss in my opinion, Howson has been our best and most consistent performer during the last 2 seasons. It's no coincidence that in his absence, we've gone on our worst run of the season and stopped playing football. Howson is the only player who consistently drops short to take the ball off the back 4 and we've resorted to route one since his injury.

I disagree that he hides, against Blackpool in the 2nd half when Howson was playing in about his 4th position in the match alone, he took the ball from the keeper when no-one else wanted it, took it forward, every Leeds player 'made them self unavailable', Howson did the only thing he could and played it up the line into the channel, what happened? The crowd derided him for giving the ball away, priceless.

It speaks volumes for a homegrown lad, who's still only 22, taking stock and choosing to move for an opportunity to play premier league football, about the state we're in and the likelihood of us getting promoted anytime soon.

I think people will only realise what a good player he is once he's moved on...

Howson is a good player and he'll do well in a prem team. Anyone who doubts hes a loss is plain wrong.

Its a statement of where we are as a "football" club.

Clearly DHM must have known his "leeds as a selling club" was timed to perfection.

What a shambles. I hope we sell Snodgrass, Clayton and go down. Maybe a Wrexham style implosion is the only solution. Bates is a cunt of the highest order. FACT

Good luck to the lad,think he has a sensible head on his shoulders. Dont know what hes been offered to stay but knowing Bates as we do cant imagine it will have anywhere near enough. Again another shoddy episode from Capt Birdseye.For the first time in years really am considering fucking off the season ticket,never felt more down about the club than in the last few months.

No matter how much you lot who arent bothered or saw it coming or whatever you have to admit it doesnt bode well. Whatever your opinions he was the club captain, the homegrown lad (something i dont think matters).

It stinks. Whats worse is its the month that bates is chasing ticket renewals. Obviously sales are going badly. Must need the cash for the post first fix on his new extension.

fansshould boycott the next three or four games leaving 8K gates.
you will probably see a change in Kens outlook.

What gets me is the pressure he put on SG over xmas for results to get us promoted, then refuses to give hime the dough to replace quality like gradel ( and howson) that actually would make a difference.
