Not a turn coat at all. I am not a huge Howson fan.I just think its a fire sale. And the money will go offshore not the team. Selling him and using the money to upgrade would be different.I think they have cashflow problems as mentioned beforeI think Grayson is average and we have plateaued. Howson can see that. He's still young and Norwich is a step up. Its a poor move career wise, but a good one for money at this point.I agree with Leb I think he'd have stayed if he saw possibilities and ambition - don't think he didI find the Delph thing laughable. But you can see the outrage crumbling already.Just add Smith and 'In Grayson we trust' will be back again.While the club dies slowly.But painting it and the previous player fuck ups a postives when its all down to a season by season approach is wrong. Great move for Howson. Not so sure about our end of this exchange. Howson gets a step up, but not too high. Norwich have done themselves loads of credit this season and they're the type of outfit where Howson can realistically compete for a first team place. Norwich have a some good young players and a great manager so should do well over the next couple of years. Howson can hang onto the back of this train and see where it takes him. Noriwch need to keep hold of Lambert though. If Howson can establish himself at Carrow Rd - and there's no reason why he shouldn't, Johnson has played a decent amount of games - he'll be set up for a bigger move when he's nearing his prime, if he wants it.Am less sure about Delph. Hasn't done it at Villa, rarely gets a run of games, often seems to get subbed when he does play and has had some injuries. Wonder where his confidence levels are compared to a couple of years ago?. Time will tell but just hope the dials on the crowd's expectations are set at the right level and Delph gets time to find his feet.

I don't agree about Lambert being a Brown without a Tan , I think he's the real deal ... I really can see him eventually being a top manager .... Maybe even taking over at Scum after Taggart fucks off.

Still isn't a bad coach...just got McClaren like credibility issues. And he kept them up the first season didn't he?That Swiss ramble fella did an analysis of Norwich at the end of last season. Their chief exec said they were working on the basis that they'd go straight back down, bounce back up and then stabilise. If he does better than that then I guess he might be.But achieving something before he's elected into the hall of fame would be nice. Norwich spent £20m to get up last year - thats how much the directors shoved in or hawked club assets against.

I always thought Brown was a media loving chancer who got lucky for a couple of years.Lambert so far has been quietly very effective , you're right though , he's done well but has to push them to another level , I think he will and I think he'll move to a top four club within 3 or 4 seasons.

In Lambert I see a quite unlikeable fella but a bloody good football manager who gets more out of some players than maybe even they knew they could produce. It will need plenty of luck for him to become a great manager, if 'great' is ascertained by honours won, and no matter how impressive they've been I don't expect that to be at Norwich.Someone mentioned Owen Coyle as a good manager - I see Lambert as a dour version of Coyle. Gotta be honest, I wouldn't complain if either became our manager, same with Martinez and dare I say it, di Matteo.
