James reminds me a lot of Huckerby. 'Run, Forrest, Run!' What ever happened to Huckerby?

Wouldn't disagree, but based on what we've seen so far, James looks the better option.
Bielsa obviously feels the same way.
Summerville looks a really good prospect and maybe feels he should be given more of a chance so good luck to him.

Personally I'm more bothered about the fact Gelhardt hasn't had the game time he deserves.

Jack Clarke gone to the Mackems on loan.

I take your point but both players are in their twenties! They've been around and there's loads of players making it in the premiership who are way younger. This has not been managed as well as it could have been. Need to learn from this and cosset Creswell, Hjelde, Gelhardt, Bate and others who show great promise. Particularly those two young CBs who are both potential captain and international material. You're probably right about the January slot. It's not looking at all good at the moment.

90Piesanhour what a waste of time that Spurs transfer was for him, just been constantly loaned out. Hopefully he will find a club that will take him on permanently

90Piesanhour he was never the same player after his collapse at Middlesbrough

Bod Good for the club though - the cash from that got us out of a tight spot financially.

        He’s a busy player though,puts himself about a bit.
Not unlike Bamford in that respect.
If true, I can see why we might be asking about him.

Rumours that West Ham have made offers for both Phillips and Raphinha. Allegedly the Raphinha move has already been kicked out by Leeds.

doggybag Cheeky fuckers. I admire their ambition, mind. Do em a swap for Rice and Bowen?🙂

More or less an admission from West Ham that Rice is on his way in the summer.

I saw the Raphinha rumour, but it sounded like bullshit to me. W Ham trying to look like a Champions league team, to their fans by offering " big money " for a player, in a deal impossible to complete by Monday.
Raphinha was in Ecuador last Thursday and he's in Brazil now. Were they going to spend £50m or £60m on a player without having a medical or Were they going to fly people out there and get the medical completed.
When he does go I think it will be to a team that regularly plays CL football

Does anyone know what the deal is with Jean Kevin Augustin? As someone who knows nothing of the legalities it looks like we're going to have to pay around 18m for him.
Had they actually watched him before agreeing that deal or were they leathered?

I think Bielsa will polish Minamino up into a very capable Number 10.

The kid's got a gift. It might be an English thing, not liking Japanese players, wanting them to eat pies, silly really as they do more than alright in Germany, Holland and Scotland
